- 2008 New Year Initiatives. All of the team at PWT would like to wish a Happy New Year to all existing and prospective customers. As part of our drive to continue 2007’s exciting growth we are pleased to announce the following initiatives. - 10 day standard lead time This proved so popular when we introduced it for a limited time in Q4 2007 that, subject to capacity, we intend to maintain it as our standard. - Marginal costing for scheduled work The impressive growth of our prototype and quick turnaround business has allowed us to identify areas of unused capacity which; for scheduled or long lead time business which can be fitted in around the urgent batches, we can afford to price very competitively. Alterations are currently being made to our costing system to reflect this and we will be targeting this type of work during Q1 and Q2. Hopefully as well as attracting new business, customers who know us mainly as a prototype manufacturer will find that this increases our value as a supplier.
